I got this a few days ago in my email but do to alot of forum activity I haven't been able to respond yet.

Hi my name is Kim, and I am working with Universal Home Video on the DVD release of the complete Battlestar Galactica Series release for the first time on DVD on October 21. We are giving one lucky fan a chance to win a flyaway to Los Angeles for this year's Galacticon convention in October along with the Battlestar Galactica DVD box set.

We'd like your help in getting the word out about this contest. Would you be interested in hosting a customized contest entry page? Website owners who host a contest entry page will be eligible for a BSG prize pack including a BSG DVD box set. If you don't wish to host a contest entry page, you can add a contest banner to your site to be entered to win a BSG prize pack.

I would, they contacted you, God has Universal ever contacted a BSG fan site about anything.

I think it sounds wonderful Thomas. As Peter said, it is a wonder and a half they would contact a fan site at all. I know there is a lot of work involved, but it might go along way to showing good will both ways. And I know there are many who wouldn't mind winning that prize. :)

Hey am in the UK, I have to get a free copy of the DVD somehow for review purposes, lol. BTW I do have a multi regional DVD Player so the NTSC thing is not an issue.

this sounds great and there are a lot of folks out there that the flight cost is keeping from the con: that's worth supporting--getting someone to the con, if anything is.
