Can I talk helmets!

Now we've all seen pics and drawings of the development of the Cylons.

But what about that funky Viper helm?

I'd love to see some designs that show its development, but they seem to be as rare as rocking horse doo doo.

And for that matter the heavy chainmail Cylon designs that Joe Johnson did, whatever happened to those?

The only Helmets I ever Saw Peter was the Egyptian ones.
For the warriors anyway.

Yes, you're right of course shiningstar. I've always been interested in the way designs develop in TV/movies, sometimes things that are discarded are more interesting than what made it to the screen.
