I sw it years ago and videotaped it when it premiered on NBC! Yes, it was pretty good. Dirk did a very good job of portraying a father coming to terms with his overprotective attitude toward his daughter. I thought he delved into his own life for some of the things that were coming out in the scenes, especially in the courtroom.
He looked great and I thought that it was interesting to see him acting with Lucie Arnaz since they were a couple back in the 70' s when they did Lil' Abner together on stage! How uncomfortable was that I wonder for them personally? But, they looked like a comfortable, married couple in the movie!
