Last night after the promo for the mini ran on Skiffy, one of the e-groups I belong to started getting some pro-mini messages. It was kind of small at first, but today we've seen the numbers increasing slowly. The posters for the most part are very argumentative and downright nasty at times.

All you fracking losers who support that suck ass show from the late
seventies, shut the frack up cuz your old ass show isn't going
ANYWHERE! There will never be a revival of that piece of felgercarb! We
are on a campaign to forever bury that lameass cocksucking show that
was rightly shut the down after one season! There will never be a
movie or series with those felgercarbty actors who are fracking 90 years

You don't get it do you? the original battlestar blows this versian out of the water hands down. its not about the cheesy scripts, yes i admit they were cheesy. it goes deeper than that. the mythos the comradship. how a group of people could count on each other. best friends who would die to save the other. strong family relationships and honor for the military. all of these things is about Battlestar Galactica. this world has too many degenerates such as you. we need strong role modles and people we can look up too. This kind of felgercarb really makes me sick... I've only been part of the online BSG fandom community for a short time. I didn't witness the Clone Wars, but I was there for the aftermath. I never knew that there would be a group of people that would purposely what they call "strafing runs" on BSG fansites. What kind of twisted BS is this??

Here is the latest (and hopefully last) post on the BSG Revival group:

LOL It's hilarious to see how some of you, even now, don't realize what's going on. The Re-Imagined Alliance is on all BSG sites,
lists, and boards. You don't know who or where we are. Most of the
time we are quiet and only post a message here and there. We've been
on some lists for a very long time. Black Squadron is just one group
who is mobile, doing strafing runs on various lists. Most squads are
permanently assigned to a board. Why can I tell you this? Because
you'll never be able to identify us. For example, the person you
know as "Nora" is a member of Black Squadron, isn't a female, and
isn't named Nora. We were "assigned" to this list over a month ago
by our Imperious Leader (and no, it's not Ron Moore hehe). The
entertaining thing is watching our exploits travel from one BSG board
to another. Quite entertaining. Needless to say, those usernames
and email accounts have been discarded and won't be used again. I
bet Big Jack was probably the last person you would've thought was
with Black Squadron, eh? Bingo. We've got you continuation people
running from one list to another to come "help out." We see all of
this ahead of time, of course, because, again, we are on all lists.
So, the game is being played by our rules. All of Black Squadron has
now unsubscribed from this list and we're off to the next mission.

I realize that people may think we're freaks just because we have a wonderful nostalgic view of our childhood as realized by our intense liking of the original Battlestar Galactica. What person does not think fondly of great childhood memories???
