David, your were a wonderful friend. You will be missed dearly.

My friends, i lost a childhood friend today. David Odeggaard was a special person and a wonderful family man who lost his life to soon do to cancer. He was only 39. He leaves a beautiful family behind and wonderful children that did not get the chance to truely know there father. May they become half the individuals there father was.

God Bless David and God's speed.

Today the world just got a lot smaller.

I am truly sorry to hear of the loss of your friend. This is never an easy time and especially with someone so young and also, that you have known for such a long time. You and yours have my sincerest condolences.

Don,
Your story really touches me and I am very sorry for your loss. It also bring back painful memories for me. My own father died at the same age as your friend. My father had Leukemia, but after treatment in 1982 he got pneumonia and lost his fight with the diease. I was 8 and my brother was 6 at that time.
I am truly sorry for your loss, and for his family. I know exactly what you are going through.
