Kai,
it's truncated the url. I hope they are also planning on some original cast reprising their roles.

sorry about that ... dunno what happened..

ok.. here's the gist - Paul Darrow (Avon) has bought the rights from Terry Nations Widow..

the new Blakes 7 is set 25 years after the massacare. Avon was the only survivour and has been a 'guest' of the federation duing that time.. but no longer.. he's Back.

Paul Darrow is the only cast member to reprise his role as Avon. set for a 2005 mini series, more news as it becomes known...

update lol
seems the Beeb have put 3 million in already.. thats good news.. they are serious about bringing Blakes 7 back..

far as I've been able to find out, Avon is going back into the fighting the Fed's biz. as to the other cast members / characters, the only other two I can see them bringing back at all would be ORAC and Severlan.

Tarrant, Soolyn, Dayna and Vilia are confirmed dead :( Slave was deactivated when the Scorpio's emergency batteries died.

hmm this looks very interesting.. and just after I bitched about UK Sf being dead! lol

It still might be Kai. They might be throwing a "BONE"
in order to 'silence' the scifi fans (or lack thereof)

They should bring Vila back as well. Micheal Keating and Paul Darrow had good chemistry together and Vila's attitude was very believable.

When Avon contemplates throwing Vila off the ship in the episode 'Orbit' is a classic moment.

Peter

That's good Kai. I hope they bring back some of the
original characters too.
