This will also show Universal that there is interest in the Original Battlestar Galactica series. If the DVD sets make lots and lots of money for Universal, maybe they will come to realize that the public does want to know what happened to the Galactica and the rag-tag fleet after 25 years/yahrens in space.

Very true.

I've already pre-ordered mine.

I also posted a thread similar to this one on Cable TV Talk.

Not only that, but also it might help to order Richard Hatch's new BSG book, Paradis, which has begun shipping. I just got mine in the mail today!

Let's show them that we wanted our original show and Richard's continuation, not this travesty!!!!

Save the proof of purchase from the DVD sets for our next campaign.

I have been doing some research and so far Amazon is the cheapest.

I came across DVDPlanet.com earlier today and found that they have the box set for $83.99. However, they will probably add shipping to that bringing the price close to $90. So, might as well go with the free shipping at Amazon...

Also, when I ordered my set from Amazon, they seem to have some kind of "sharing" deal where if you refer the item to friends and family and they end up ordering it off of your referral, they get a 10%discount on the item and you get a discount on your next order with Amazon.

could be good to spread it around and save some people an extra 10%, which with this $90 set is $9.00...not bad...
