Hi, jjrakman.
I live only about 45 minutes south of you =).
I used to go to GenCon up there in Mil every year - have to go SOUTH now.

Actually Cajun fest was last weekend, Western Days was this weekend. I got them confused, they're both on the same grounds.

Hey Lady, 45 Minutes south, Chicago?
Yeah, I remember going to GenCon when it was just a few tables rented out in some reception hall. It became a real monster that I don't think we could contain. That's o.k. though. In the end I think it got too big to really enjoy. I mean I remember when admission was around $5.00 and just before they left I think it was somewhere in the $20.00 range.

I'm just about halfway between Milwaukee and Chicago, near that suburb of "Gurnee" lol =)

Yeah, sane people don't walk Gurnee Mills in one day.
I've done it exactly ONCE - and only because it was raining out and I didn't want to walk all the way to my car (thereby getting wet) then drive around to the other side, get wet again going back inside.
But... yeah, Gurnee Mills is big - and it's getting bigger!!!
