Ron Moore has been a bastard toward fans of the Galactica series.
Oh right now he's trying to put on a happy face and put a friendly spin on it.... But he has consistantly been an arse to fans of the Battlestar Galactica.
I truly and sincerely believe, despite what many of you may suspect, that this is a genuinely good piece of work, that it carries on the spirit of the original show, and that it provides the very best opportunity for the ideas that made Galactica shine in memory for almost three decades...
NO... you haven't mister. Galactica:03 DOES NOT CARRY ON THE SPIRIT OF BATTLESTAR GALACTICA. The heart of the show revolved around a very warm caring (extended) family who struggled against a very dark and unfriendly universe on the way to salvation. You made Apollo a whiny father hating BRAT! Starbuck is no longer the lovable rogue, but a new sex object for Zac and Apollo. And Cylons are now HORNY?!?! That is not better... You have missed the entire point of the series.
Don't whitewash it Ronnie, we know you don't give a damn about us. We have consistantly, UNITEDLY, repeated that we don't like the changes in your new script. Even those of us who are willing for a revision are aghast at how horrible a concoction you have brewed.
I am also more certain and more proud than ever that I took the course I did in bringing your franchise back to life.
You asshole.... you are killing it. Along with our hopes and dreams.
YOu and your cronies at scifi are CENSORING our voice. You deny us the freedom of speech at scifi.com. Our opinions are deleted for fear of the fact that most people on a whole do not want your monstocity. That is not my opinion. Its a fact. Most people who remember the show think its great you are reviving it...that is until they learn about the changes you made. Then they always puke.
You have earned our disdain and we do not like you.
