You've captured the essence beyootifully. That is exactly what the genius of Ron D Moore was attempting to convey...
needs more handjobs though.

Very crap considering it came from Trollbooth! Nope i ain't a fan of his, we already know of the remake's lameness. If he gonna say Languatron he better say it. I know i'm on sci-fi and i ain't barred you see, he and i went at it last year and frankly he lost badly.
Now the coward wants to cause reactions by saying public enemy No.1. i got much better jokes than him. His high school humor and website images don't impress me. Long as i know we're my loyalties are, fighting for Galactica to be a continuation. Ignorant posters like Trollbooth ain't winning me over with lame sucking up and "hold the applause lines" like alot of you, i've clawed and scratched for a revival of BG done right.
And this johnny come lately wins people over with sophmore jokes on a webpage. Sorry he ain't gaining my support. i'm busy putting my time to something positive.
Sorry folks i don't agree with you on this.

Obviously.
It was sophomoric, sexist, obvious, and took little imagination.
It still struck me funny, and it made the point.
I will make no editorial comment about the author, since I do not know his work beyond this single piece. If this is typical, though, he is not someone I'd frequent, simply because my sense of humor typically doesn't go that route.

Obviously? obviously what. Look less you dig up some old posts on sci-fi you really don't know whats obvious about trollbooth and me going at it o.k.
Let just say THAT author as you put it, ain't as innocent as you make him out to be is all. Not really my personal bias but, let just say we're better off doing other things than, wasting time laughing at a particular production that may have the last laugh rather than us laughing at it.

I am really indifferent to Trollbooth's personality, the fact remians his site is NOT Universal or RDM friendly. And that is OK with me.

Exactly how I take it. Those who are not against us (even if for a moment) are with us (even if only for a moment).
And if their moment changes the mind of 10 lurkers, we have 10 extra folks spreading the word against the mini.
 Besides you have to laugh when the production is going to be that bad.

I'm not sure what this means. The word "crap" is a noun, and the word "very" is an adverb. Adverbs, in most major languages, are not used to modify nouns. "Very crappy" would probably be a better construction, since crappy is an adjective, which can, in fact, be modified by an adverb. You also would have had better luck if you had used an adjective instead of "very." (No appropriate adjective springs to mind, but I'm sure you are resourceful enough to think of something.)
For more information on this subject, I would recommend two short videos: "Lolly, Lolly, Lolly, Get Your Adverbs Here" and "I Described Them With Adjectives." Both of these can be found in the "Schoolhouse Rock" collection, which is now available on DVD.

Here, you express two dissimilar thoughts in one run-on sentence.
1. You are not a fan of Trollbooth.
2. We already know the remake is lame.
Even overlooking the grammatical errors, how is one of these thoughts causally connected to the other? If I were to write something similarly disjointed, like "I think Lord Kingjason is illiterate, monkeys are dancing on my toilet," you could see where I would run into problems.

If he gonna say Languatron he better say it.
Again, you've lost me. What on earth does this mean? The closest English translation I can decipher is something like "If he's going to say the word "Languatron," then he'd better say it." But since that's such a meaningless, inane sentence, I have to believe you were attempting to communicate something else.

You ain't barred I see. What I don't see is how that first sentence resembles anything but a non sequiter. As for the outcome of your battle with Trollbooth, I don't recall seeing any referee declare you the victor. Having seen that battle myself, I recall a decidedly different, less-kingjason2-friendly outcome.

Is this before or after he says "Languatron?"

Really? You do? And all this time I thought you were entirely humorless! Maybe it was the utter lack of wit in your posts that gave me that impression.
I'd still like to hear a good joke if you got much better ones, though. Did you hear the one about the guy who says "Languatron" and "public enemy No. 1" when he walks into a bar?

I disgree with this sentence, but I can find no flaw in its reasoning or its construction.

Your use of the apostrophe means that this sentence could be rewritten as follows: "Long as i know we are my loyalties are, fighting for Galactica to be a continuation."
I had hoped that eliminating the contraction would somehow make the sentence slightly coherent, but alas.

Ignorant posters, eh? They can surely grate on the nerves, can't they? Except who's sucking up? Who's holding applause lines? How does Trollbooth's page destroy a Galactica revival done right? And wouldn't some linear thought on your part help answer these questions?

Oh, about LKJ- quit picking on your brother, young man, or it's no TV for you tonight!

Actually, the Manifest Destiny line was in the "Elbow Room" segment. ("There were plenty of fights/To win land rights/But the West was meant to be/It was a Manifest Destiny"):cowboy:
"Shot 'heard round the world" is a great one. I love "Fireworks," too, although the PC crowd would probably put the kibosh on the whole "Pursuit of Happiness" thing.
I've gotten the videos for my kids, and they love them. So that doesn't necessaily mean I'm old enough to remember them during their first run. (Sadly, however, I am. :uhdrop:)

LOL! I remembered that- brain fart time. I was trying to remember the words, and I thought, hold up, "Shot Round the World" is about shooting Brits, that's different.

I thought the reason was readily apparent. If not, then here it is: you ripped in to Trollbooth, called him "very crap," and demonstrated a level of pettiness coupled with incoherence that demanded a rational response.

If you insist on sanding by what you posted, I would ask you to sand somewhere else, because the sand gets in my clothes and gives me a gritty, you-are-there feeling.
That said, go to school on my monkey butt any time you wish.

What's Micheleh got to do with it? She didn't attack you; we were just discussing Schoolhouse Rock. The difference is that she was using complete sentences and actual punctuation to do it.
It is now your turn, sir. I offer my monkey butt to you freely. If ever anyone needed to go to school on it, it is you, young man.

Oh for.... I was trying to avoid this.
Stallion- no one asked you to correct his grammar. I apologise, LSF- I missed the part about illiteracy. That's out of line. I would appreciate- Stallion- if you refrain from the snide attacks.
*Sigh* Too late. Take a break, Cornell.
