Hi all,
The People's Voice is accepting nominations for best website in the "Webby's" (the online equivalent of the Oscars) now through May 23, 2003. I nominated http://www.battlestargalactica.com as a write-in under the TV category and suggest you all do the same. I picked Michael's website because I think 1)it is a good website and 2)it would be a good way to show support for the original show by getting a website with a pro-continuation slant in the running. Imagine if a website devoted to a one-season show that was cancelled over 20 years ago won? I imagine someone in Hollywood would notice and if nothing else it would bring the site to the attention of a lot of technical people, who do pay attention to it (think the IT or MIS dept. at work or wherever, most are sci-fi fans and all are online nowadays). It could only help the continuation effort the way I see it, as it would bring more people to our side and it gives us something positive to work on while the Abomination is being prepared. Please feel free to post this info on other websites that may be interested, including my message if you don't feel like thinking up your own.
P.S. Michael, don't be shy about voting for your own site, time is short and every vote counts!
