Now that the Milton Collective/Charybdis Bunch has been exposed, who is left...the real fans of Battlestar Galactica. Some detest teh reimagining, some areaccepting it, some even think it has promise. But one thing is certain: Once the origins of this movement to manufacture a fanbase for a nonexistant product are revealed (and they will be), it won't matter how many fans of Galactica may be interested in the new production. The sickening feeling that has embraced all of us will stick with us.
I have never had such contempt for a production as this. The depths that the production has gone through to destroy Galactica is simply mind boggling. You had it all; a franchise on the verge of being brought back by the team that has the number one box office hit now, but instead of picking up where Fox left off, you destroyed it. At this point it doesn't even matter if the production is good or not; it is tarnished beyond belief, all due to the politics of the Milton Collective.
All I can think of is what could have been...Richard climbing into one of those beautiful new Vipers, Dirk in another, ready to repel a second Cylon holocaust. *sigh*.
You blew it.
