New changes one day, old ones back the next, and the mass murder of members older posts once again?

Guys? be satisfied with what you have gotten out of CF already , what possible errors or glitches are there now with this place?

any problems with server spaces online for some bizarre reasons, CF boards glitching, have we moved again, hard drive errors. why? and what for, we ask.

Guys come onget it together it's getting confusing now, i've posted 12 times today and i'm still around 85 posts? everyone's gettin shafted now?

PM all of us and let us know whats going on please?

Unless CF problems have spread and we're kept in the dark about some unknown things going on.

Everyone suffered enough loss of threads but i enjoy reading everyone's old post in my spare time as well as my own. if you got memory prob's let us members know. alot of us would like to dig up some old stuff now and then just to bring up subjects to talk about.

Let not lose stuff which makes us enjoy talking to each other.

You can thank jjrakman for creating that Bonnie Hammer avatar...he created two others for me: one with a bullet between her eyes (like that Ron Moore one he created) and another where she's got an axe buried in her head. I used this one first because it made me laugh out loud.

I'll be using the other ones in the coming weeks. :naughty: :)

I agree - I was in the 80's and am now in the 20's. I was really pushing for the 100 mark. This is a major set back.

Anyone have any answers?? please??

The admin of the sci-fi board I frequent has this creative itch, she is constantly playing with the board, tinkering, she calls it, never satisfied. She's found things that don't work, things that work great, things that do and don't fit, I like it it myself.
Changes can be good.

Some changes can be good but going from 80's to the 20's???? Man that means I have to bust my tail again to get my numbers back up again.. ggggrrrrrrrrrrrr:no:

WE're really sorry about that. Alot of us went down. Infact I think would estimate that most of us only have what posts we had since the move less than a month ago.

I've been at this board since its conception. And well... I had thousands of posts. And..I'm glad to be rid of them!!!! :D

But if anyone wants their post count boosted to match what you were, find Warriors post about post counts. He can fix it. :D

Good for whom Flamingo girl? i must agree with Darkjedi, members posts now lack continuity thus you cannot say to someone, "Hey remember so and so when we posted" etc?

Everyone got screwed over this time and it's not right. we moved already what possible tinkering was to be made! The board already had a "one day change" put back to normal cos maybe it wasn't as original as first thought of. Or the boards back catalogue of posts was too much. (fair enough arguement)

Other than that some members gotta post again nearly from scratch. Thats not right. Even the sci-fi boards never pulled this one.

As I understand it, these forums were moved to a new server, which is the reason threads dissapeared and the post counts went down.

Loosing your post count doesn't erase the past.
