I am unplugging for a little while, if you call I will not answer, emails will wait unread, the lights will be off and the computers too. All will be quiet.
My battery, as big as it is, has become flat, without juice, no get up and go.
I have booked a room at a swanky resort by the sea, where I shall eat find food, drink vintage wine and walk on the beach. The wind will blow sand over my toes and lightly tickle the tops of my feet, I may stop to feed the Gulls or fly a kite. I shall drink imported coffee while watching chipmunks scamper about, or perhaps study the clouds above.
A walk in the woods is planned, flowers blooming in the cool spring air adding their sweet sent to that of coastal pine.
In the evening I shall sit on my balcony and sip a fine wine or an old Scotch malt as the sun sinks into the sea. Later, on the sofa a good book I will read while a warm fire crackles softly in the hearth. When it is time to sleep I will stretch out on a most wonderful king sized bed and dream of things that could be.
If it rains, I’ll be back on Monday.
