1) What fighter (cannon or non-cannon) is your favorite from the bsg universe?
2) What is your favorite fleet (non-military) ship?
My answers:
1- Steve P's scarlet viper (hope I am crediting this right)
2- Colonial Movers, the motto cracks me up.

1. The Tie fighter...ah-oh Battlestar Galactica sorry I hardly remember the sleeping giant. Starhound Viper, would of liked more seasons to see different fighter craft.
2. The Rising Star, sexy and sleek, a great meal, a cool place to par-tay and scam on broads.

1. The original Cylon fighter, which seated three centurions - I just thought it looked cool. Actually, I kind of liked the modified Cylon fighter which carried three robotic centurions and (I think) three humanoid Cylons that was seen in the G80 episode "The Night The Cylons Landed".
2. I think it was the ore-mining ship - the one with the three round storage containers mounted to its' frame and the landing pads on the bottom, similar to the Eagle ships on "Space: 1999".

Hum... non-military, well thats easy - the argo ship. Fresh from silent running.
I liked the Viper, it had a '50s feel about it.

For fighters, the original Viper. In my opinion, it still has no competition from within the series. For me it's a toss up whether the Viper or the X-wing is the greatest fighter design of all time in a science fiction show.
As for civilian ships - I think I'd have to go with the one that was always tucked up next to the Galactica in the panoramic view. From memory, I think it had a disc shaped forward section. I'm fairly sure it never was named, but it always gave you a good impression of both the sheer size and protectiveness of the Galactica.:)

That's the A B Fighter with a compliment of three centurions and two humanoid Cylons.
I'd like to see someone model that ship.

So let me see if I got this right
If a pirate movie is made and has all these great looking canons on it but the second movie is made and it has nothing to do with the first, but uses canons,
Can we say that the Canons are canon or can we not?
What about that old cop show that was named Canon. If they did a remake of that and had nothing to do with the original, would that be Canon even though the name is still canon.
I'm so confused.
