I haven't had a post go through in a few days...one was responding to nightscape, one was a scathing question as to why it wasn't posted, and I don't recall the other. Then I posted this:
***
Every day or time of day I read a post supporting Galactica my heart jumps, message of revival does agree really not far to go in fact through fandom. It is exposed,is tentatively, reactively obvious for success that Eick and Moore have amassed fans, who passionately are now not getting crap that their fears and opinions despised, rather in with talent without fear of retribution.
***
Now, with each sentence start with the first word, skip 2, etc etc to see my REAL message.
"Every time I post my message does not go through. It is obvious that Moore fans are getting their opinions in without retribution."

FYI:
Just posted to the other forum, took about 1/2 hour. I was a bit surprised that it appeared, maybe the last line of the post had something to do with it??
I dunno....

I've sent their email several complaints the last few days. When it was taking 8-9 hrs this weekend that was ridiculous.

Outside of my coded message, they're not posting anything I say. Here's my response to your (Jewel) "Double Standards" post:
Yup, Jewels, I agree...my other posts have never gone through. Censorship at its best. If this is what the "New Galactica" is about, then to hell with it.
You moderators may be the only ones who read this, but we have outlets at many other places on the net...so play your censorship, dictatorship games...you're gonna lose a hell of a lot of us.
Check your logs...I was one of the few "old guard" willing to give the remake a viewing. Guess you just LOVE alienating the old fan base eh?
So have your Moore love in...you've now showed us how low you'll go.

I *WAS* going to watch the remake. I'm so pissed at this turn that to hell with them all.

I posted a note that everyone should keep copies of their posts (see http://www.scifi.com/mbb/browse.php?aid=880). I didn't expect Skiffy to pass that one through but they did. I don't know when it finally appeared but I sent it just before I went to bed last night.
The email I sent commenting about the idiocy of their version of moderation still hasn't gotten a reply, not even an autoresponder. If I haven't gotten a reply by the end of the week, I'm going to resend it with a different subject to see if Skiffy is filtering BSG subjects as they seem to be doing to anything with Farscape in the subject.

well i am up to 4 replys and 4 topics that have yet to be posted at sci-fi. this is going on 48 hours.
it is realy sad that a small group can come to a bboard and the older fans get pushed aside. that is what is happening at the sci-fi forum, it looks like i have been banned.

I've been laying back, there, so maybe they haven't put me on the *whack* list yet... we'll see. Here's the post, if it does dissapear.

Regardless of what TOS fans do, I've noticed, it will be spun into a negative. We are dealing with very adept marketers with a drive to see their project succeed at all costs. In this sphere, manipulation of the facts isn't lying or deception, it's creative marketing. (*sigh*) These are people with enormous amounts of money at stake. They are not driven by passion, respect for the property, creative integrity, or even any notable liking of the show- it's a business deal to acquire ratings and sponsors, and for Moore's part, an opportunity to salve his ego by revenging himself on the fanbase who had the NERVE to criticise his efforts just because they were not what was requested.
The fan base is NOT defeated. We are NOT hopeless. We are NOT lazy, no are we languishing about doing nothing. It is merely a tactic to proclaim so, without proof unless you have a direct line to the mailboxes and computers of the recipients of our protestations.
To those who try to convince us to lie down and accept defeat, this tactic will not work, either.
For those who may sincerely believe the battle to be lost, I say- Keep The Faith.

Twenty minutes. That was a surprise.

After all this time to put a moderator in. When we were waging our battle before we had to put up with constant problems and members who bashed us and made the fans look bad. Every postathon had a problem where the BB was down or a bunch of Moore's supporters showed up. Now that the filming has proceeded "BAM" a new board.

considering they're helping bankroll the production of the pseudo-Galactica. They'll not want their own board running it down, right?
