Cruising through the cosmos, exploring and viewing worlds unkown. Of course it would suck to be chased by the :cylon: . What a cool ship though; it's got to be huge! The stars must be beautiful when viewed from out there.

May the force be with you!

Do Battlestars need a weather officer?

Oh, to dream....
I would even push a broom or scrub the toi...(uh)...turboflush to be on the Galactica!!
Seriously, I hope we all live long enough to have the opportunity to take a passenger flight on a space vessel, even if only into Earth orbit. That, for me, would be the ultimate!

Many of us...certainly not all but many are thirty-ish I really believe in our life time we'll get that chance to at least orbit the Earth.
Those who are racking in the cubits may be doing it in 15 years.

As for this Thread...."Good Morning Commander Jewles here is your tea, Earl Grey hot the way you like it"
I'd do that job to serve on a Battlestar!

I'm glad to have a nice home here in the good ole' USA, with no Cylons breathing (oops, they don't breathe, do they, except in RDM's miniseries) down my neck. However, it is fun to imagine what it would be like to live on a Battlestar for a little while. That's why I enjoy our BG Lite RPG at www.battlestarcallisto.com . A group of us have joined together to write our story together, and though we have a rough outline to help us get from point A to point B, just like in the original series, you never know exactly how you're going to get there.
On any ship of the fleet, especially on a Battlestar, one would face crowded conditions, food, equipment, and fuel shortages, the struggle for promotion and recognition, the trials and tribulations of men and women working together in close quarters, illnesses, accidents, and death, encounters with the Cylons, and the maneuverings of those who want to get ahead by something less than legal means.
Say! With all those possibilities plus all the things that could be encountered in space, you'd think that someone at Universal would see the potential and would invite the original cast back and continue the original series!
