Dear Galactica Fans,

I have done my own checking up on the rumored prequel and I would like to say that the prequel dealt with the video game only. Devin Richards is attached to Vivendi Universal Games and not the to the production studio. I hope this clarifies some rumors regarding production. For the record, the "re-imagined" Battlestar Galactica miniseries has 110% support from Universal Studios.

So let me get this straight. When Treklord posted the poll stating 'what do the fans want, a continuation or a prequel', they conveniently forgot to add the bit about 'in regards to the game, not the mini.' How convenient.

If Mr. Eick let that one slide by unaware, then someone is asleep at the wheel.

But nor was it stated that the prequel poll was about a frelling videogame. In fact by it's wording I think we ALL were lead to believe it was about the production judging by the response to the poll.

If their concern had been honesty, it would have been beyond simple to step in and clarify the moment it became clear that the poll was being misinterpreted- if indeed it were, and if this whole 'explanation' isn't just a handy "We never really meant that" after the fact excuse.
