Bridge size question

Anybody know how big the Big G bridge set was?

That's height, width and length.

...While I can't give you an exact, let's just say as big as it looked on screen, walking around it was just as impressive, even with the Stage Rafters overhead.

My guess, as far as Height (and this is a guess, from memory) from the lower area to the actual ceiling level was between 30-35 feet. They utilized the whole tank on Stage 27 to give the maximum height, and that tank is 12 feet deep. As far as the other Dimensions, it used up more than half of the sound stage.

Hey, you know what. Ken (Raymar3d) has built a nuts on accurate version of the Bridge (It ROCKS! If Moore and Co. had Brain One in their pointy little heads, they would have brought Ken onboard in a Design/Art Direction Capacity, IMHO). He could probably give you the exacts, down to the sq inch.

...Now does it make sense WHY I cringe everytime MooreRon and one of his Zealot Followers open their ignorant Mouths about how they know better what Galactica is about? Not a one of them, including their God King, has the beginnings of a clue.

To say the Bridge set was Impressive just feels like an understatement. To see it lit, all the panels working, and see everyone in place for the first time was a Jaw Dropper.

The Landing Bay was cool, but the Bridge was one of the most Uber-Cool sets I've ever been on.

The landing bay was about 54 ft long and wide. Another big set. You lucky son of a gun!

I'm drooling here too. I know how cool it is just to get the quick glance at the Las Vegas Hilton's ST:TNG fake bridge--and Galactica's bridge is so much more impressive, so much better. Yes, I understand your ire at what Ron & co. are doing to BSG.

This was how much it cost to build the bridge and it was ENORMOUS from what I read.
