In 'David's' response on Sci-Fi to those calling for a continuation being outnumbered by those who are interested in a remake he stated there was little interest in a continuation judging by the amount of letters received at Universal and support in print media for TOS.
The latter statement is really bizare because this must refer to Richard's novels which will soon number five in print. So they must be making money for the publisher to continue putting them out and justifying paying Universal their licencing fee!
Bizarre!
As to the former. The amount of letters over the years must have far outweighed those for the mini.
And another thought. Apparently the Battlestar Fan Club now numbers 2000 members (I'm not one of them). What were the organisers doing to motivate their members while our struggle was being played out?
