... if indeed I get information that supports that claim. Unfortunately, I haven't. However, I am seeing a lot of activity that hints that much of what Michael has already said has validity. This is my opinion but it is an opinion I believe to be based on several facts.
I don't believe that Ron Moore would come to the Sci-Fi Board unless he desperately needed something. He either needed to show some support from the Retros, which he didn't get, or he wanted to get the Retros to mouth off so he could say "I did my best to reach out to them and look what happenned!", which he did get.
I don't think the Neos lashing out is a coincidence either. PM me if you want more regarding the Neos. If I know you, I'll answer.
The poll at http://pub99.ezboard.com/bthecylonalliance continues to progress, slower than I'd like to be honest. Some of the responses are attempts to stuff the ballot so the figures are a bit off but the percentages are pretty close to the real numbers. Those using multiple handles and faked IPs are now avoiding the poll. (Its good to have a background where you can track this sort of stuff).
Some things are certain: CG work continues. A film crew is in Canada. Ron Moore and David Eick are assuring everyone that things are fine. The Neos have dropped their desire to make friends.
- and, I haven't seen anything that has made me believe this really is lost. It may be, but I haven't seen the proof myself, despite the Neo's claims of facing reality. Of course, I believed that George Lucas could do a good Star Wars prequel and that The Sum of All Fears was going to be a good sequel.
