Edward is no longer has the mini listed in his profile which he did last week, and niether does Jamie Bamber who also had the mini listed in his profile. May be an error..

I doubt if it's an error. The profiles don't automatically update, they have to be edited.

WHAT? Oh, that was how IMDB listed the mini cast a couple of weeks ago. Same update date as then.

But I saw Bamber and Olmos have it on their personal IMDB listing too, earlier. You weren't imagining things. Olmos IS in Canada this week. that IS weird.... but it's likely the IMDB messing up.

IMDB news comes from posters like us anyway. Their info is easy to be messed up from either too many news update thus leading to confuses updates abound on there? Or late recast by Universal on the remake thing anyways!

What if "American Family" goes into a third season? Wouldn't he be obligated to continue his role in that series? The reason that I mention this is that it would interfere with the plans for "Bonniestar Titanica" if it (God forbid) goes to series. Would he leave "Family" to do "Galactica-lite"? I think not. He may have took the "Galactica" job thinking that it would go to series, so that he would have somewhere to go if "Family" ended its' run.

Wouldn't he be in a bit of a pickle if PBS decided to pick it up again? Hey Ronny Cox, you might wanna put Ron Moore and SciFi on speed dial...:drool:

I personally like that casting a lot better, personally. Ronny Cox and Michael Shanks would be commanding as the Adamas. It would make me want to see it, just a teeny tiny bit then. ;)

My guss is Almos was conditionaly signed, pending PBS decision to do a third season of The Family.

Looks like they decided to go for a third season, so Edward will be doing another season with PBS.
