Someone on Sci-fi mentioned Tshirts at Tvland.com store site in the retro area.

I just went there and ordered 2 and posted on their forum a new topic asking them to show the original series uncut.

First thanks for posting the shirt info, perhaps if I attend the 25th party I might want one.

Apparently you have been posting on the Sci-Fi board much longer than I. From what I read you once wanted continuation, I understand you are a fan of TOS. From your posting you appear not to be one of the mindless Moore-Drones, so what changed your mind? Why are you supporting this current production as is when there was a compromise Moore based production in the works? I would still support a Moore based prequel/side story that was re-worked to respect TOS.

I look forward to hearing your views.

I feel that the script is good. I also feel that TPTB are never going to let Richard Hatch do his thing. For some reason, they seem to have something against him and I sure would like to know why.
I would love to see him produce and direct the Second Coming.
No doubt there. So, I am a Galactican that loves the story and if Richard is not to be allowed to do it the way the original should be carried on, then let it be remade and retell the tragic and epic story.
If it fails, I feel there are ways it will come back and in some great way.
I just feel it will eventually happen for the best. And NO, I have never been called a Pollyanna. Insult me all you want, I love everyone of you as fans of Battlestar.

...A Pollyanna, nor did he insult you.

I would of liked you to address my second question more.

No I would not call you Pollyanna I too still have hope.

No insults here either, I only have a problem with agenda driven Moore-Drones when you read enough postings who can tell who "drank the Kool-Aid".

peace
Jon

Some people may be too young to get it.

Your barking up the wrong tree Micheleh.

Siress13 only donates money for the Ron Moore cause.

"Siress13 only donates money for the Ron Moore cause."

Sorry, but that's totally out of line. If you're in a damn-all mood, take a walk. Don't bring it here.

...Siress, behave yourself, trying to charm me by calling me too young isn't going to work...

:)

I understand why you said it, I just didn't see Sept doing it.

BTW, I just wanted to reiterate something I said to you before. One of the BIG misconceptions is that even if Moore's remake goes through, that there still would be some kind of re-union possible.

This idea has been pushed by Moore as justification.

However, what they are pushing isn't a "continuation" reunion, but an Interview type show, like that Sci-ology thing, where the cast and crew sit and comment about the TOS.

If Moore's remake goes through, any hopes of a true Continuation is GONE.

From one Siress to another, thanks for the tip!

My old BG T-shirt was starting to wear out!
