I have been wondering if the Sci-Fi Channel will air a 2 hour tribute show with the original cast members in which they talk about their experiences on TOS Galactica? They did after all air the Sciography Galactica show.

There were rumors a couple of months ago that some of the original cast would be brought together to sit down and film a "reunion" show to discuss their work on the show. And that would be slapped onto the 1978/79 BG DVDs. The term "reunion" would be tossed about; fans would get excited at the prospects. Sadly, some folks have a very sick sense of humor where a "reunion" is concerned. (All of this is second-hand information, but I believe the sources.)

Fortunately, some other folks have a serious attitude where this is concerned. What happens remains to be seen... and I'm not talking about a DVD documentary or extra, either.

Unfortunately, I believe there will be a strong focus on the new BG series and not the original one as it celebrates 25 years.

Come to Galacticon 2003 (http://www.galacticonevents.com ) where the original series will get a proper celebration -- and with members of the original show, too, with fans new and old.

Keeping the Faith,
Michael

Plus, if you recall, the Sciography special was nothing more than an ulterior motive in tribute's clothing.

That's a "galactic" understatement. Me and another BG fan are still waiting to be credited for our contributions. Not.

I heard so many excuses about what went wrong with "Sciography" after it aired. The bottom line? The SCI-FI Channel got involved.

I have to admit, I liked the Sciography show. It was very anti-Richard but it also brought up some good stuff about how the show was created and pointed out that there was more than just Cylons and space battles.

I can admit that if Steve can admit he liked G1980.

The main objective of the show was to show all the faults with TOS Galactica.

...and give them a baisis to discredit the Second Coming project.

If you're talking about the cast, I don't blame them for not wanting to do a reunion show...not after what's been done to them.

Hey, Michael, tell the original cast...no matter what Moore does, he can never ever replace them in our hearts!
