A few days ago I read a statistic in the newspaper.

I learned that more people are dying in their beds than on our streets. Furthermore there was a list with the top one hundred programs which people are watching when they die in front of their TV. Battlestar Galactica wasn’t part of that list.

:wtf:

Thinking about these facts, I had a great idea to reduce the risks in my life.
I burnt my mattress and filled the resulting gap in my bed with pure high quality asphalt. After that I transferred my Battlestar Galactica tapes on the harddisk of my computer, connected my computer with my TV and started my personal endless rerun of the whole series.

:light:

It didn’t take long to discover another benefit of the asphalt in my bed: I don’t need so much sleep anymore!

:beaver:

While I was lying awake for many hours during recent nights, I thought about these unbelievable and newly discovered talents of mine. I came to the conclusion that I should use these incredible talents in a professional way. That’s why I decided to become an executive president and general manager of a TV Channel.

:emperor:

But before I’m going to apply for such a job, I think I’ll have to visit my doctor, because of this terrible and increasing pain in my neck...

:(

Back from the doc

Guess what?

He said something about a connection between the terrible pain in my neck and the changes I made to reduce the risks in my life.

I wasn’t really able to follow him – I was soooooooooo tired...

:...:

But I should have known better. It was a mistake to replace my mattress with asphalt. A nice, comfortable and cosy mattress makes you soft! I should have trained my neck first.

While I was sitting on my sofa this afternoon watching my personal endless rerun of Battlestar Galactica and taking these little nasty orange pills the doctor gave me to stop the pain, I had another great idea.

When I will be in charge of some valuable franchises, there won’t be any special edition releases of DVDs and Videos any more. Instead only the normal versions of the movies or series will be released – the only extras that will be added are these little nasty orange pills the doctor gave me. Believe me or not – it’s the best and most exciting way to remaster the material. The sound and the special effects were incredible!!! And there were scenes I’ve never seen before. But the best experience has been that I was right in the middle of the action – I even eliminated some Cylons :cylon: and have been decorated for it with the Golden Cluster Award during the ceremony on Carillon.

:warrior:

I think I celebrated this a bit too hard , because when I woke up I had a terrible hangover.
The next thing I realized was that I had become a victim of a break-in vandalism. My livingroom looked like a battlefield. So I called the police and told them what happened.

:cop:

A few minutes later four very friendly men came and they had a present for me
which looked a little bit like the white colonial warrior jacket Apollo was wearing on the ship of lights. They said they had orders to escort me to a safer place.

I spent some quiet and peaceful days there planning my new career, but the place wasn’t as safe as they said – when I was home again and unpacked my bag I realized that my new jacket was gone. It’s a bad world, isn’t it.

But now I’m ready to go for my new profession: executive president and general manager of a TV Channel. I already worked out a new masterplan. I’m gonna take the pace out of space, replace the o with a u and introduce a „br“, so my reimagining of space operas (aka science fiction) can be classified as: SUPERBRAS !!!
