I wonder if the colonials ever did or considered meeting the cylon threat with an army or cloned warriors.

It would make sence for technicaly advanced society faving the kinds of odds they were.

I think they may have which is why I find the sidestory concept being preached by bsgbountyhunter most interesting. It keeps our version of Galactica alive and at the same introduces Moore's version with few rewrites. In many ways, it is a good compromise between the Neos and us. Hopefully Universal Studios is paying attention to the two sets of fans working together.

Dr Ravashol strikes again huh? You know, while BG only lasted one season it sure did cover alot of sci-fi themes

In Gun you had "Clones"

In Greetings From Earth you had "Cryostasis tubes" i.e. suspended animation.

In "War of the Gods" Good Vs Evil

In Lost Planet "Mythology"

In Living Legend "Warfare"

In "The Man With Nine Lives" D.N.A. Genetic Tracing

seems Galactica can expand on anyone of these elements already explored in the old series and bring up any "Mythology" or "Cloning" it can.

If i were Moore (with writers block) i'd steal from SW episode 2 and have old Cain show up at Arcta (who survived the encounter with two Cylon baseships) and force Ravashol to clone me a hold new squad of Warriors using his, Tolan's and the launch officer's D.N.A. heh

Clones ahoy :D

Nah just ain't old BG is it?

That is actuallt a really good idea.

In either a continuation universe or the new series, to have Galactica come across Pegasus and Cain building a fighting force of cloned soldiers to fight the Cylons.
Prehaps somehow he has been able to get his hands on some of Ravashol's work.

Only these clones are not as free thinking as Ravashol's. They are organic automatons made only for fighting.

The Cylons are into cloning. That is why there are no females. They all died out.

I read this in Richard's BG books. Cylons used cloning however it diminished them and as a result they decided to come up with a Human Logic Chip patterned after Baltar. Good thing they chose him.

"as a result they decided to come up with a Human Logic Chip patterned after Baltar"

...as a result, shortly afterward the Imperious Leader was seen pondering why the Cylon Empire suddenly included a bridge and several million acres of swampland.
