This is was will happen if you don't listen and hear the fans of Battlestar Galactica and their warning should you continue with this remake/prequel nonsense you foolishly want just to please your egos bigger than the Grand Canyon!

Read and understand what happens when the Star Trek franchise isn't so stable as many would believe when their latest movie and TV series Enterprise is heading to the scrap heap!

Copies and pasted from imdb.

Star Trek: Termination?

Star Trek producer Rick Berman has acknowledged that following the failure of Star Trek: Nemesis, the future of the feature franchise is uncertain. "I don't think this is like falling off a horse, and you want to jump right back on it," he told Sci-Fi Wire, the news website of the Sci-Fi Channel. Asked what went wrong, Berman replied: "There's no way of telling what happened. ... I'm convinced that we made a very good movie, and I'm also convinced that the movie was promoted properly." Star Trek fans, apparently, are not nearly so mystified by what occurred. On the website, one Trekkie posted this message in response to Berman's remarks: "The huge plot holes, the inconsistencies within the story, the inconsistencies within the Trek framework, the lack of historical continuity within the series, the lack of logic or common sense in the writing and MUCH more led to this film alienating not only all of the fans I know but all of the intelligent non-fans I know, too. Folks, people were **laughing** during the screening I attended, and not at the 'funny parts.'"

Sad but true, from imdb.

Preaching this stuff here. TPTB doesn't come here. Take this post and take it to the sci-fi boards and stick it down those Trekkers throat.

If a couple of smigs and tafts come and bite you on the ass them ignore them!

Be a man!

The reason why we are being outnumbered is because everyone is basking in this safe haven istead of getting their hands dirty and helping their fellow fans

I think what he's trying to sya is that this part:

"The huge plot holes, the inconsistencies within the story, the inconsistencies within the framework, the lack of historical continuity within the series, the lack of logic or common sense in the writing and MUCH more led to this film alienating not only all of the fans I know but all of the intelligent non-fans I know, too. Folks, people were **laughing** during the screening I attended, and not at the 'funny parts.'"

...will be an applicable barometer of the reaction to the RM project if they keep doing it the way they have been. I agree.

Scooter i've fought it out there alot more times that anyone would care to know?

That "Be a man" crack is OUT OF LINE! I never run from anyone and you know it already?, so don't lowblow me or anyone else, just to force me on anyone's side because i don't have to prove myself as a fan not after all the campaigning all fans have done so far?

But being drawn into a "Snake Pit" like sci-fi right now is point less, it would attract more not less Trolls so that's not an option. Sorry you feel that way but, a franchise like "Battlestar Galactica" is never outnumbered just ignored by the very TPTB which are lurking but not DOING anything!

Besides copy and paste if you need to piss off the Trekkers on sci-fi channel, if you must long as it's you Vs them. I've moved on to the source of the problem TPTB themselves! debates are better than flaming right now.

Just for everyone to note and take your own cue from:
new handles following the posting of the RDM Script on scifi bbd. : Kara Thrace and Lee Adama. Yes I am sure they are trolls (posting back to back--PLEASE) But now is not the time to throw in the towel.

Apollo, Starbuck, Boomer and Sheba (the characters, mind you) would kick our respective arses for wimping when the tide could still turn. Keep the faith. Keep speaking your mind. Everywhere you can.
