To see one group of fan's working against the fan's of another show, just because he is a fan of a writer!

It's kind of sad in any instance to see people decide how they think or feel on any issue based on who is dispensing the information, not the information itself. Just because you like work that soemone has done, it doesn't mean that everything they ever do is beyond criticism. Any creative effort needs to stand on its own merit, otherwise you are simply judging the person, not the product.

Unless Mr. Moore is going to personally get up and do tricks to entertain me, I'll judge the product, thanks. ;)

I think a lot of trek fans (myself included)
Think of Moores work on TNG era Trek as sort of a high point in the series.
Based on that they are willing to give him the benifit of the doubt.

I always thought Will Rikers relationship with his father was really weakly written. It looks like RDM has recreated that storyline for Apollo and Adama.
