I participated in Michael Faries Most Important poll because I thought it might be an interesting idea. And I don't want to be an unreasonable man. I also would rather they write a prequel WITH the fans input than without it.
But I am tired of the smugness of TPTB. They have vague rules as to what constitutes proper feedback from the fans. This seems to include only with whatever already agrees to their own viewpoints. Anything else is discarded. They also want to discount the voices of "new comers." In Michael's recent post he states that Universal is frustrated and surprised that the fans are not embracing the new premises being offered. How can they be? We write, we e-mail, we call, and we beg and plead nearly on a daily basis. And still they continue to have Treklord and others ask us what we want. How many times must they ask the same question, only to receive the same answer, before they finally grasp the elementary obvious. 90% of fans want a continuation with original cast/characters. Is that so damned hard to deliver? So with that in mind, and with the knowledge that pleading with TPTB has been about as effective as talking to a brick wall, I suggest we forget about contacting them and focus our efforts on their advertisers. I have here a list of more new advertisers to contact. If you want a continuation, tell them that nothing else will be acceptable. Not a remake, not a prequel. And that anything else will result in a permanent boycott of their products/services. Also ask them to remove all of their advertising from the station, as you will no longer be watching it if this production goes through. I will continue to seek out contacts for advertisers and will post the new ones here periodically. If anyone else can find new ones, join the fight, post them here! Good Hunting! And please feel free to copy this information and post it to any BBB or website you may feel appropriate. LONG LIVE THE CRUSADE!

I will contact all of them and try to contact E and Entertainment Tonight.

I am 48 and don't want to wait until I am as old as Bellaby to see a continuation.

I don't trust Universal and TPTB to tell us the truth, they seem to be playing divide and conquer with the true fans.
