What is it? more or less it must be a planet or indepentant colony away from the 12 worlds of man or an alien outpost that was trading partners with the colonies. Since it was mentioned, i know i'm not the only one asking. We are at a crossroads where we are either getting a remake or there is a glimmer of hope someone will come in and fight for a continuation?

If that happens, what will be improved upon if a continuation does happen! I take it some elements from the first series not explained in full would be fleshed out, i.e. the planets, colonies, Cylon homeworld etc. Continuation or remake, addressing what came before would be interesting to revisit and understand so the show would have more of back history to it!

Worlds of Battlestar Galactica we have yet to explore in any version!

* The 12 Colonies of Man - Destroyed by Cylons but little of their history is known to us

* Borallus - Known to have a Cylon outpost other than that nothing we know of it

* Molocay - Fifth Colonial Battlefleet lost there, little of the battle is known except the Battlestar Pegasus was thought to have been destroyed during the conflict.

*Lunar colonies of the planet "Terra" - The Lunar bases of the different factions of the planet Terra's East and West forces.

*Orion- No infomation other than it was a major trading partner of the 12 colonies. Note: Siress Bellaby Energizer came from Orion, Sheba also makes references to Orion by saying "They are as pale as an Orion moon?

*Arcta - Ice Planet which was liberated by the Galactica's Warriors. but what did Ravishol do wth his clones to run the planet afterwards. Didn't he say he could defend against the Cylons with other inventions he didn't tell Vulpa about? so what happen to Arcta?

*Attila - Another Cylon controlled planet liberated by the intervention of the Galactica Warriors (and the group of children on Attila) what became of attila afterwards?

Guess my thread will be relegated to those what if questions posed by the fanbase because you can bet with a remake we will never know about Orion or the other planets the Galactica did pass by!

It is an exceptional question and you must be suggested, in order to ask over it. Which it interests the origin and the particular, that they encircle Orion, there is little light, that I can make on the subject. But there are sure those, that they are more intelligent of the I, that can make it reference towards to a usable summary.

With all due respect, what are you talking about? if you got something to say, say it! without anything holding you back.

KJ - maybe Armstrong's trying to say you just gave him a lot to think about?

I certainly thought your post thought-provoking, though I have no answers for you. Everything you brought up seems to be part of the ever elusive backstory of BSG. I know some of the fanfic folks have addressed some of it, but that leaves you with just that person's spin of that section of the yarn and there's a fairly large skein of untold story out there. (sorry, but sometimes it is fun to see how far I can pull a metaphor for my own entertainment's sake).

Write down your take on the story wherever it interests you: there are advantages to this being an unfinished, underdeveloped master story: it lives on in our imaginations.
