Ronald D Moore was invited to the 25th Anniversery BSG and he attended?
How would the fans treat him?
Would anyone give him the finger if they were to catch his eye?
Would everyone boo and his him before, during and after he did a panel?
Or would everyone be courtious and polite to him?
Would his apearance demotivate and or prevent fans from wanting to attend?

To tell you the true if i went, i'd have the balls to talk to him and i would be very up front with him about what he did and the choices he made? No as much as i might be angry talking smack and killing him are to different things if anything i point out the crappy ideas he had and make him understand just because were're fans doesn't mean we don't know what would and wouldn't work in a new version of BG.
Not everyone gets cold feet at talking to people responsible for writing or directing, producing TV shows. I'll be more busy to explain the rights and wrongs in bringing Galactica back, than giving him the finger or wrapping my hands around his throat? (Scooter2000 don't put ideas into my head hehehe heh)
Seriously though i prefer talking it out with him, maybe he would break down and admit he did the crappy script for a quick buck instead of whinning and defending the garbage he wrote!
KJ
I'll also tell him, the Trek fans are coming for you Ron and want your blood run! heh heheh he :)

I would be courteous and polite to him, as I'd expect the same in return.
I'll leave my answer at that.

Thanks MF, i'm getting a Galactica based avatar one soon, but must first scan it in heh. MF how long are you going to be angry at that script heh heh. Well at least it's not like Lastbattlestar's G80 avatar, we really must have words with him. :)
I figure avatars need attitude so old Maul's taking up space, renting if you must before the Colonial Warriors know he is there :D
KJ
P.S. A little trivia, i've got Ray Park's autograph! During the run up to Star Wars Episode 1. I got his signature at a con in 1999 before May of 1999 that is? So Maul and i have more in common than meets the eye. Also i got Richard Hatch's first BG novel "Armageddon" in paperback format at the same con. There was also a french unoffical Galactica book but it was in french so i didn't get it! Bummer as the old expression goes.

Heh not bad Crash, followed by an alternate versions of Count Iblis lines to Ron Moore.
"What would you primative Hollywood Writers know of what you call SCRIPT!",
"I've got scripts that would amazed you scripts of life, scripts of death!" (Moore gets frightened)
"When a script writer writes a bad script, there is a high price to pay" (Moore gets worried)
"Don't ever write a bad script again, or you'll sacrifice your life in a wink of an eye" (Moore breaks down again Crying)

How would the fans treat him?
"Would anyone give him the finger if they were to catch his eye?"
That question was more or less intended as a joke. But my answer would be "no". This fan is above such childish and despicable behavior.
Instead I would just make funny faces at him every time he looked at me. (Yes, I am just kidding)
"Would everyone boo and his him before, during and after he did a panel?"
"No" but my applause would be more unenthusiastic and half-ass. I would just be attempting to applause to be polite.
Truthfully, would anybody's heart be into it?
"Or would everyone be courteous and polite to him?"
I would be courteous and polite to him
"Would his appearance unmotivate and or prevent fans from wanting to attend?"
I would prefer it if he weren't there but still would attend if he were to show up.
This IMHO is supposed to be celebration of BSG ,(I repeat this is only my opinion) I think it would be dishonorable to invite the man that has help pulled the rug from under To DeSanto and then deceived and betrayed the BSG fans and then ignored them for ego's sake.
Also his remake has the potential of sticking the stake through the heart and forever killing the BSG franchise and burying it.

I'd just hope no one invites him. After all, it's a celebration of Battlestar Galactica 1978-79 25 years on.
'Nuff Said,

As I mentioned before, with the lastest debacle, I'm throwing my full support behind the Todd Moyer Galactica:1980 revival.

Actually, someone else here is responsible for the avatar, but they shall remain safely anonymous! :z:

How would the fans treat him? I'd hope that the worst treatment he'd get was someone turning to him (after the applause died down following the showing of Richard's trailer) and asking, "Now do you understand?"
Would anyone give him the finger if they were to catch his eye?
Interesting choice of gestures. His script sort of did that to us, to BSG itself, in a nearly literal way, didn't it? I think we have more class than that and could behave like grownups.
Would everyone boo and his him before, during and after he did a panel? Hmmm. would anyone attend the panel??
Or would everyone be courteous and polite to him? I would hope so though I think he'd mostly get ignored more than say any of the cast or crew from '78-79 BSG.
Would his apearance demotivate and or prevent fans from wanting to attend? Not this fan. My frequent flyer miles are earmarked for the trip already, just need to know the dates.

The following assumes that there are no significant changes to the script for the mini-series:
I would hope that there would be no booing and no childish insults; however, I would make it a point to tell him that I was very disappointed in his decisions affecting what he was calling Battlestar Galactica. Furthermore, it is my heartfelt belief that as good a writer as he can be, he could have done much, much better with this effort.
