OK - it looks like it's time to put the cards on the table. Here is what's happening:

A dear friend is in need of a place to stay for a little while. Not long, just a base of operation for a month or so. It can be a spare bedroom, or a travel trailer for that matter.

And it doesn't have to be in Las Vegas proper, either - Henderson or any of the other "suburbs" of LV would work as well.

My friend is reliable, quiet, and is huge into sci-fi (classic Battlestar Galactica included). Most of my friends are huge into sci-fi, actually...

Anyway, I have family in Henderson and I have enlisted their help - but the deal they were working on fell through. Does anyone here know anyone in that area who could help?

It would be a real blessing...
