And here she is, the Klingon K't'inga class battlecruiser from the motion pictures.

As with the Connie, she's not motion picture perfect, but she do look nice. I gave her random metallic textures all over. The disruptor cannons are fashioned after the Klingon bird of prey. She has independent lighting all over, especially in the impulse engines and photon torpedo launchers.

I'm anxious to do a space battle between this ship and the Enterprise.

Thanks, Ger. It's my favorite Klingon ship, followed closely by the Vor'Cha class attack cruiser from Star Trek The Next Generation.

That is really awesome work Steve! I don't know about anyone else but, IMO, I think this Klingon design is right up there with both the Original series and ST:TMP designs of the Enterprise as some of the top Classic Starship designs in Sci-Fi. I like the job you have done. Keep up the good work, my friend. :salute:

Cool.

I see that somebody has been working on lighting :)

Gotta love the K'tinga. Probably the best spacecraft design outside of the Cylon raider -- and I'd give it a close call either way.

Yeah, that specularity setting really helps a lot. :)
K't'inga is definitely my favorite Klingon warship.
Miranda is probably my fave Federation starship...that or Excelsior Mk I. Will be building more soon.
In fact, a friend online on YouTube is making a StarFleet Battles series of videos, and I'm gonna be doing some CG 3D stuff for him.
