I had a go at updating the Protector to an RDM style a few days ago and then realised that it would also make a cheetah. They're not perfect but not too bad for all that I think:

I never made enough BSG models (making up for that now) but very nice design ...

IS that an actual sat image?

Curious if it is an HDR or what?

It is an actual sat background for the image. Some work well, others don't at all. I suspect its a lighting issue.

Interesting retexturing of those SteveW designs....cool how it blends the classic lines with the RDM hull types. :)
