The set up of the scene took a couple of hours probably more time than it should have taken it is my fifth animation attempt an due to the amount of detail in the Landing Bay it took 17 hours to render

Funny I just used that several days ago.
I cant imagine it taking 17 hours to render though.Have seen my share of Long renders. Just got A Dell, Intel Pent.4 -8 years old.
I added texture animation (landing lights) to landing Bay, it took 3 hours to render in C4d, a short clip, can be seen on intro of Battle of Atlantia here or here

That was A nice clip!!

Lighting and Textures also play apart I think in the render time
(I don´t render much these days) ...
but its a very nice job

There are credits on the youtube channel in the description and yes it did take longer because I had the antiailiasing on a medium pass that way it looks more realistic and yes there is a landram on the left side and a another shuttle.
Thanks you for a great landing bay Taranis wonderful detail

Multi-pass rendering is something I know nothing of. Need more info Drill Sgt.!!! Am Training Hard Drill Sgt!!!
Something I did learn is using depth of field on camera and it made a huge difference. In time, I can and will make more realistic vidz, just wished I could now.
--I have only just begun-
I plan on using TARANIS's Landing Bay to recreate or attempt the Atlantia Death Squadron Attack. Did not occur to me to add any more models into it.
Thanks for posting this.
