Guys,

I hope you all had a great Christmas. It's been pretty hot over here, but I have been giving my liver a rest until New Year's....

Michael, regarding your contact with the Larsons recently, was there any indication of their feelings on the latest abomination?

Is there the slightest chance that they would/could wish to reclaim their rights/influence over the new production? I assume repcisg would be the authority on this situation! :)

My point is, are the Larsons legally able to step in and pull the rug out from under the current production? After the 'walking Vipers' debacle, I never thought I'd hear myself saying this, but I think the Larson's control over the direction of the show now would be a godsend. At least Glen would know in his heart what Galactica is all about.

Wishful thinking?

Mike

I just learned: The goodness of a dear friend was responsible for the package I received from the Larsons, not them personally. Go figure; we talked a while back. I totally though they were following up with this. (Not the case...)

To my benefactor: You are the BEST. Thank you!

Robert would indeed be an excellent source on this. I was under the impression that a deadline was coming up, though. I don't know what that bodes for the current production.

I hope that somehow Glen Larson will be able to sue or do something to exert influence to stop this project.

I NEVER thought I'd say this. (Never.)

I'd much rather have the Larson/Moyer production right now. That is a very sad state of affairs, particularly for those that know me, when I say something like this.

What is the deadline and when it happens what rights do the Larson have?

Michael i am afraid that i agree with you on this. If we had the choice of Larson's version or Moore's version only I would have to go with Larson's. That is the lesser of the two evils.
