Note that this my MODIFICATION (PhotoShopped) of an existing piece of artwork by an artist named Gravato. I claim no credit to the artistry beyond the PhotoShop alterations and touch-ups.

Seemed to be a good concept for a "darker" version of the reptile Cylons.

All my best,

Very original i must say.

Apollo did say in the pilot that the original reptillian Cylons weren't humanoid and that their machines took on a humanoid appearence realising the human form, was the most unique adaptable lifeform with many advantages they lacked, kinda makes it poetic that during the war they copied our forms to compete with mankind during the 1.000 years of war with 'Colonial Humanity'. That the Cylons were more and reptillian-like makes a world of sense.

But i personally wonder, what would've happen if you took the paintings from the Battlestar Telemovie of Experiement In Terra. And made those Reptillian Cylon paintings more 'rounded' or gave them a more 'digital colouring' and gave them more of a digital CGI shine etc. Adobe After Effects or Photoshop might be something to look into if one were to get all artistic with that kind of suggestion?

Interesting Concept Sir.

Very nice artwork as well. I have a drawing of the Original Cylons and they wore a type of armor - might work that in and make their claws/hands where they could hold some type of weapon as they were described as a VERY warlike people.
