I was alluding to the smilies from here, with this post at BSG Club II, earlier today.



Any item such as a post, thread, or smilie that resides on BSG Club is the property of the forum owner, i.e., Nathan, correct?

Before simply copying them over to this site, it would be necessary to get his agreement and permission, just as it would for anything else that is not considered in the public domain and protected by fair use policies.

The smilies here though add a uniqueness to CF. To have them on other websites takes away from that.

It's better to have a uniqueness to your place so it doesn't look like anyone elses. Shows a love and care going into a website :)

The new site is getting off to a good start and we'd like to extend the invitation again, to join us. While most of us are cross-registered at the various TOS Galactica, each place seems to have a different forte -- Fleets' devotion is to artwork - literary and CGI, continuing the mission begun by its parent forum, 3dGladiators; TOK is the recordkeeper of science fiction, past and present; BSGClub (new) will be the Role-Playing center of the Galactica universe.

So, if you've got an urge to be a little creative and would like to join in, we'd love to see you there!

Once you get registered, look up Uncle Al; he's in charge of the O-Club and the first round's on him!!

At any rate, my best wishes to you and to Katie, for the success of your site. TOS Galactica sites have not covered as many parts of the universe that we'd like so, any new additions to the TOS family are very much welcome.

We just need to remember that we are a family. Working together is where our strength lies.

The well loved and famous television series, the Original Battlestar Galactica from 1978-79, has long been a source of rich creativity and projects just in the world of fans alone.
The show has inspired thousands around the world, and is still going as strong as ever! A number of fresh new forums are a testimony to the deep impact the original series has made upon it’s devoted fans that continues with unwavering passion everyday in this community.
With the births of forums last year "Hawke’s Nest", "Battlestar Orion", "Battlestar Caprica", "Battlestar Earth", "Star Cyrannus Society", and "Richard Hatch Fan Rec Room", fans are offered a range of wonderful sites to become members and join in the fun of mingling with other like-minded members. Now a new addition to the group of Proboard "Warriors" forums has been created. Due to recent events on the original Battlestar Galactica Club forum it’s current state has left it’s many regular members in want of a new home for the club. We now have a new home for the BSGclub and though we have most of our regulars already settling into their new home, we want to get the word out to the rest of the BSG community out there who might not know about us yet.
