BattlestarGalacticaClub.com is Offline for 24 Hours

Hi, folks!

As the saga continues... BattlestarGalacticaClub.com will be offline for about 24 hours. Why? For a server update. I have a Anne-ual web hosting account at LunarPages.com, and will be renewing with them for many, many years. ProiaFamily.com is becoming the primary domain for my web hosting account. BattlestarGalacticaClub.com will become Anne add-on domain (like the other 10 domains that I own). This is in preparation for the transfer of ownership of the BSGClub.com domain name to none other than... Anne. The site itself will be on my server for as long as Anne wants, and that's kind of good, since it ties us together. More information to be posted when available.

Hi, folks! Been working all evening and night. ProiaFamily.com is now the primary domain for my web hosting account at LunarPages.com. The 10 addon domains are configured. However, all of the domains are currently forwarding to ProiaFamily.com. On Wed. evening I will install a newer version of the vBulletin programmes to work with the new server configuration (not to mention a whole bunch of new vBulletin features for Anne, her admins, and the members). And I'm optimizing the new version of the programmes to be accessible and expandable by Anne and her admins in the future with minimal involvement from myself. Fellow techies will understand this: the previous version of vBulletin was heavily modified and customized (hacked), and set up so that I could perform most of the administrative duties. The new version will be geared for Anne and her admins. Hopefully the site will be online Wed. night, but I think it will be Thur. night. Lots of work (spit-polish) that I am doing. But it will be worth it, and the site will be more than ready for Anne when she becomes owner of the BSGClub.com domain name. More information to be posted when available.

I too tried to get on BSGclub today, but just a very slow redirecting to Nathan's personal page. :blink:

The forums are up and running! It's pretty basic this week, but compared to before, the foundation is more accessible and expandable than it was before. For more information, you can visit the Announcements forum. More information to be posted.
