I've recently bought a fiberglass kit of Baltar's flight helmet originally made by spcglider.

I'm still looking for pics of the original screen-used prop to achieve the highest degree of screen-accuracy.

Can somebody help me? :?:

Here are a few pics of the still unbuild kit for now:

Does nobody here have detailed informations or pics from this prop?

Your best bet is to get screen caps from the actual show...

I already did that.

But the major problem is that they've shot the scenes in very dimly light back then, like all Raider interior scenes.

So the problem is that you can't see the details of the helmet (the crest for instance, where the red light is housed) because of the darkness.

By the way: Does anybody know who owns the screen-used prop now?

If you have any questions about how to assemble the pieces, I can happily answer!

Thank you for that and the wonderful work of yours!

Do you might have a few pictures of the original screen-used prop?

I worked from screen caps. And precious few at that! The only place of contention in my mind is the area around the red lens louvre. There MIGHT have been a bit of a "mound" to the area directly around that trapezoidal hole, but I couldn't verify it. So I didn't attempt to "guess" what it "might" have been other than smooth like I made it. Otherwise, I'm honestly certain that the piece is as accurate as anyone could make it.

But like I said, if you have any questions about how it goes together, just let me know!
