Okay, so as I stated before, do to the 10 spot limitation at CF and the fact that 10 choices are probably more then enough, I had to eliminate a few names from the list. I tried being as wide and inclusive as I possibly could. My apologize to those who's picks did not quite make it.
I submit for your consideration the choices for Adama:

The poll only allows one vote option. To cull the list to two, I posted TWO choices.

Yeah if I could have pick at least two mine would have been Ed Harris and Bernard Hill

Didn't Christopher Plummer pass away??
I'd vote for Sean Connery, but he's not an option.

Mr. von Trapp (aka. Mr. Plummer) is still very much with us!
Yeah Sean Connery would have been great, but as Taranis pointed out, he is retired and I doubt he would come out of retirement for even BSG.
Love the avatar, BTW! ;)

Oh good, not sure why I thought he had passed on, I must have been thinking of someone else.
I've got to admit, it's hard for me to think of anyone but Lorne Greene as Adama. I'm VERY much old school. :)

Hi Andreas!
Brolin could have been a could candidate too! To bad, we didn't think of it before the poll when up. Maybe next time!

Hi Malkyte,
no problem.
Hope only that this time Mr.Larson make a Big Movie
for the theater.(hopefull with Tom De Santo).
Maybe it is just another rumor...........?
I think this is the main problem....he say to much
the last few years that the Classic come back!!!
So nobody believ in his words anymore.
For me ''classic'' Battlestar Galactica is always made for the
Big Screen.

Anyone else think James Morrison could pull it off?

I thought about him, but I felt he would have been a little too military and dry to play Adama. Both his roles on Space: Above and Beyond & 24, were relatively dry characters. But that's just me.
He might have been a good Tigh though.

Sorry to have been out of the loop for so long -- too many things going on, not enough hours in the day.
Bruce could certainly do the role, but he's pretty well fixed in scifi as Sheridan, so I go with my original pick of David Warner - one of the most underused actors out there

He's got that Lorne Greene presence doesn't he?

I voted Ed Harris. That said...the one and ONLY Adama is no longer with us. I think any story told in the future should reflect that.
