How are you getting on with your model of the Big G?

That is a good question. The Galactica hasn't seen any progression at the moment Peter. Although i have not had much time to complete alot of what i have set out to do i'm still moving forward. Most of my time is spent in research on the original models in order to make accurate cgi replicas. The Galactica Shuttle i made in fact just went through a major overhall. She is now 95% complete. I'm still researching some of the minor details that i cannot complete until i have that information. Let me tell ya it isn't easy finding info on these ships but i'm getting there.

On a side note, if your interested the Galactica will not be the first Capital ship completed (hint hint). Stay tuned. In January i hope to have a few pics of the *other* capital ship.

I thought the shuttle was almost there when you previewed it before, but I can't wait to see the finished thing!

Have you seen this below?

Thanks Peter but i have alot of that info already.

The info i seek is hidden

;)

The Shuttle went through a complete rebuild. Just ask Michael and Darrell about that. I had the body proportions WAY off so it needed to be totally rebuilt. I'll see if i can muster a new shot to show you the redesign today.

Thanks again for your interest!

I now this is an old thread but I know the guy that restored the shuttle.
He lives by me, He also restored the original Enterprise model for the Smithonian.
He also helped restore the Galactica Model.

Well, I'm never letting go of the film can ship being the livery (cattle, horses and unicorns) ship, either. [I swear it was a trivia pop up on BattlestarPegasus.com, allegedly info from some of the original design folks] Besides, unicorns are way too cool to not have a home in the fleet. ;) Yours can haul water if that's what's needed in the next outing, but mine will always have horses at least. ;)

Haul water? That reminds me of that old "Titon's Haulers" ship.... :D

When I look at it, it puts me right at the moment during Galacticon 2003 when Tom D. started playing the Foundation Imaging demo and I realized all that was (and someday will be again) possible. In other words:

Never surrender hope. :salute:
