Yes it has! I find Voyeger a lot of fun to watch much more than TNG.
I have Season's 1-4 on DVD. Season four was one of the best out of all the seasons

to the flying toilet seat;

Personal opinion; Irwin Allen took the Swift Family Robinson and adapted it originally.
Rick Berman who never had an original idea in his life, took "Lost in Space" and ruined it.
Reminds me of another "idea" he had. There was going to be this space station located in neutral territory between an Earth government and a powerful alien enemy with which it had recently concluded a war. There would be mysterious godlike-beings and there would be a special human emissary who would uncover an age old conflict among those godlike-beings and in the end the human emissary would pass beyond our reality, as he confronted those beings and settled finally the conflict bringing in a new era of peace.
His second in command on the station would be a strong female lead military officer......
He would have a troubled chief of security.
His doctor would be a specialist on aliens and would have deep dark mysterious secrets.
No Betazoid, but he would make do with a parsite alien like they had done in the Stargate movie.
There would be a secret Bureau 31 to constantly hatch plots to plague our station commander.
And he would have a baseball mania.
And there would be a big war.
And there would be trips through a magical wormhole next to the station.
Bastard.

<snikker>......Try flipping Voyager upside-down, sometime - then remember that they are trying to reach earth...All they lack is a fleet, although they do have the "Regenerating Shuttlecraft"© :D

I also like sports metaphors.
Draw your own conclusions as to what I'm saying about the Raptors and such. :/:

You know, it's funny how time can change your outlook on things. If you were to ask me what I thought of Voyager back in the late 1990s, I would have said "it's complete crap." Now, in the post GINO world, Voyager looks like it was written by Gene Roddenberry and Gene Coon. I am a continuity buff. The continuitiy glitches and inconsistencies drove me crazy. Then Gino was spawned and ripped up my hopes for a revival of Battlestar Galactica. It threw everything that I liked about the original show and flushed it down the sewer. So, now I cut the Berman/Braga era shows a break. They were not perfect but at least they were recognizible as Star Trek. They fit into the Star Trek universe. (Although it sometimes took a shoe-horn.) It tought me the lesson that if you complain about something you don't like now, be careful because you might end up with something worse later.
