Spoilers for those who read the comic...
At the risk of stirring up a hornet's nest at the mere mention of the Sci-Fi BG series, I thought I should pass on the "news" that in Dynamite's (New) Battlestar Galactica comic #2, a Cylon base ship as depicted in the original series made an appearance at the issue's conclusion. In #3 (now on sale), TOS Cylon raiders and Centurian pilots are featured. The story continues in the next issue.

Do you think that's a way of trying to garner more TOS fans money for the NS comic?

They should be trying to attract more readers for their TOS comic instead by doing stories set *after* Hand Of God.

They can't....despite what the fan-boys rant, "Cousin 'it'" just plain stinks....so they're trying to keep it propped up by bringing in TOS: "See? It really IS the same show! REALLY!"*winningsmile*
Not.

Not.
Why can't they do stories after HOG? Is David Eirk still being a D**K. He made sure DeSanto could not do his show over at cartoon network.

Because the thought of the classic show coming back scares the hell out of him.

It occurs to me that the term TOS comic spoiler is a contradiction in and of itself, since there can be no "spoiler" of any consequence if we already know what episode the action is set during, etc. and therefore the characters all HAVE to be in a certain position by story's end.

Because the thought of the classic show coming back scares the hell out of him.
...and for good reason.
We did NOT just go away, like he had hoped.
..and..
We did NOT gravitate to his show, like he had prayed.
We are his worst nightmare and we really don't have to do anything except just be here, gaining new members every day....

We and TOS are a threat to Moore, Eirk, and their pet monster.
We have the potential to dethrone their Galactica and create a kickass epic that could crown television from here to the next few centuries... right up along there with the cut-down firefly in terms of quality.
Why are all the best science fiction programs cut down before they had a chance to suceed?
Because all the evils of cheap, plastic television soaps and stories are afraid of sucess rising above their crap.
