I know its not paticularly nice to point out the flaws in another site but this one had me banging my head against the wall. I searched Battlestar on Battlestar Wiki and came up with this:

http://en.battlestarwiki.org/wiki/Battlestar_%28TOS%29

to the right you will see the stats and paticulars for a Battlestar and in the article thier rationale. All fine and well. I then searched out Galactica at Battlestar Wiki and got this:

http://en.battlestarwiki.org/wiki/Galactica_%28TOS%29

now check out the stats, again located on the right.

now I understand different sites may use different info as "canon", but this struck me as absurd! has anyone else run into this sort of problem over there?

It looks "mostly" canon but I'm not familiar with the Battlestar length. If the Wiki remotely adheres to the research of Todd Boyce then I'd say they are in good hands.

Todd Boyce is a member here at Fleets as well. His site is: http://ravensbranch.allen.com

OK, I've read the Boyce article, and he states where the different sources come from. I think the Wiki needs to be updated to reflect the higher measurement and maybe a hyperlink to the Boyce article. When I get around to it someday. (I've been updating the TOS secrtions for a bit there)
