It was a drug OD. He took her to rehab about a week ago. She checked herself out and overdid it getting a fix. She had problems, but she was not a bad person.

Oh, there just aren't words. Prayers for her family in this grief and for you as their friend. (They won't want words, BTW; they'll have times when they just want a friend nearby to be quiet with, or to distract them, but words are usually the last wanted thing.)
