Hello All at CF,
I've been "lurking" around this fantastic site for a while and decided to jump in and participate in discussing one of my favorite shows(CBSG). I feel as though I know a number of you already, so I thought it only fair for you all to get to know me. I'm real new to the internet and discussion boards in particular, so be gentle eh. :) I'm looking forward to some great discussions and updated info about the show. :salute:

Thank you ernie90125,
I appreciate the welcome to Fleets. BTW, I have been to your site www.battlestarfanfilms.com. It's an awesome site. I truely enjoy the short films that have been done for the fans of BSG. Kudos :salute:

Welcome!
I look forward to 'reading' you in discussions!!
Don't worry if you are an internet newbie, I know from experience that the people around here are real nice about answering 'dumb' questions..
Cheers,

Welcome, CBSG4ever. And, greetings from the only Cylon viper pilot in the fleet. (that I know of) Don't worry about being a newbie, we all have been there. And, as someone once said, "Jump in where you can, and hang on." Look forward to conversing with you in posts and PM's. Until then...
Ares, out. :Nsalute:

Nice to meet you too BlueSquad2001,
BTW, I wanted to say that you've doing an awesome job on the Desanto Viper model. I really admire the work you have done. Keep up the good work. I've put together model kits myself (store bought). I consider myself a fairly accomplished builder. Got some kits that need putting together but haven't found the time to get to them. I have not attempted scratch built resin kits. I can appreciate what you are doing though. Again, I'm glad to finally be here at Fleets.

Thanks for the welcome Lara,
I too am looking forward to discussions as well. I've been putting around the internet for a little over a year now, finally got a decent computer system to go on line with. Registering here seemed pretty straightforward enough. If I have "issues", I'll definitely send out a distress becon to the Fleet. :)

Hey Cylon Number 13,
Thanks for the greeting. Looking forward to conversing as well. The advice on "jumping in and hanging on", does Fleets issue a "G" suit for that? :D See you around the Fleet. :salute:

This is home, for me. It feels good to be here and have so much in common with everyone. :salute:
About the viper, it's a very easy build. Easier than a store bout kit! Just use c.a. glue instead of model cement. Later! :D

I kinda got that feeling just browsing around this site. I'm just a friendly space loiterer that got picked up. :) That's one of the reasons I joined Fleets. Actually, it was your Colonial Recruiting Poster that did it for me! :yikes:  :D

Seriously, really great artwork there. :salute: Until later.

Still hanging on and doing well. Found a home and made some new friends. Even got re-aquainted with KamikazeAthena, whom I had first met a couple of years ago at the 04' ComiCon. Small world. :) TTYL as well Cylon Number 13. :salute:
