Galactica Spoof Comic entitled "2230"

I picked up a comic book entitled "2230" at a comic book convention. It is a spoof of Battlestar Galactica that was published back in 1984. It is a black and white comic that is printed on heavy paper slightly less thick than cardstock. The writer/artist is a guy named Henery Kujawa. The story is really a cross over story where the "Battlestar Galacton" goes up against Klingons. The humor is slightly less sophisticated than what you would find in an issue of "Cracked." A lot of it deals with plays on character names and non-sequitors inserted in the background. However, if you ignor the "humor" you can tell that Kujawa was/is a fan of the show. The ships, uniforms and sets are well depicted. I was wondering if anyone else ran across this little footnote to Galactica merchandising. I am curious about the background of the comic. It looks like it was self published.

What do you think? The artist indicates that he may create some new adventures after 20 years! Be aware that there are other area of the site that are sexually oriented. Mr. Kujawa has moved on to some rather raunchy stuff.

Galactica. Klingons. Bad artwork. What could be better? :D

I've only read the first few panels, but this rocks so far. You've really gotta love the obvious cheesy names like Stawback and Boondock. I used to do stupid comics like this with Star Trek, worse artwork, and even cheesier names back when I was in school. My friends used to get a kick out of them. This is cool. Thanks for sharing this. :D
