Here is the first blueprint of the Raider's body. We have already made it from high density foam, and have skinned it with a sort of plaster. At this point today, we are covering that with a few layers of polyurethane resin. And then detail. :D

This project has been on hold for the better part of 2 1/2 weeks because Tom has been so busy working on his other projects that it took time to get back with me with the corrected images to do it 100% right.
Now it on the right track. BUT.....I'll say it now, that the cockpit and pilots are a completely separate piece of art, all by itself, and will only be offered as a separate unit. It is a model that will be worthy of detailing, lighting and displaying on its own. That's just how it is folks. Not cause I want to pull the same ridiculous stunt that others have pulled with the studio scale raider, it is just another work of art. :salute:

I'm fascinated at the process of building this. It looks like its going to be great. I'm new here so I havn't come across your work before. I assume that this is going to be limited production kit? It would be great to have such a fun job!
Cheers,
Brian.

Thanks to all of you for sticking by, and being patient. With the death of my best friend, all things came to a halt without warning.
And I appreciate the support from all of you here, and all of the e-mails and long distance calls that I have recieved, pretty messed up for a bit was'nt I? ;)
Tom and I are again at work on this. :salute:

I'm not sure when, but I'd like for it to.
But I've got alot of build-ups for friends and art commissions to finish up, I'm not sure. But as things progress, I'll be adding more building shots. :salute:
