I had been thinking about this for a few weeks and reminded again in another thread. We TOSastER types are pretty pessimistic with good reason for a TOS continuation with the likes of Benedict and others. Recent 'Poseidon Adventure' activity shows a TOS continuation is not impossible.

An upcoming big screen 2006 Theatre release.

I don’t know all the details about the studios involved etc. but a Tom DeSanto type producer could make things still happen. A lot of the brand confusion, TV rights and big screen theatre rights issues have holes large enough to sink a ship.
